Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to a beautiful ‘pink’ event with a great cause. Hosted by the wonderful team at Clinique St Lukes, who put in so much time and effort into creating a seamless event, with the support of Revelry & Total Care – as well as a range of contributing sponsors (Kim Crawford, Petal Cupcakes, Ketz K, Clinique and more)
A huge congratulations to event founder, Kristelle Thomsen, who’s inspiration for the event came from her grandmother and mother in-law’s battle with cancer. This tough experience lead Kristelle to want to make a difference by raising awareness and funds for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, locally and doing what she does best with the help of talented friends, family and colleagues.
Attention to detail was exquisite – from flower arrangements to barmen’s ties, I kid you not, almost everything was pink! I felt like I was at one of the infamous Gossip Girl pink parties, with groovy live jazz playing on arrival and dolled up guests. There was even a fashion show where one outfit + jewellery by Ketz K was auctioned off to one lucky lady.
With majority of ticket proceeds going to the NZBCF, a lot of $$ were raised on the night by fun raffles and auctions. Here are a few photographs from the event…
So make sure you sign up early to attend next year if you missed the event last night, as it is a lot of fun and it’s great to support such a wonderful cause. Also head down to Clinique in St Luke’s mall for some friendly service and expert makeup advice.
Have a lovely week and keep a look out for my next post of some couture gowns I was given by a very dear friend.
Love & hugs,
